Altitude and Health: The average altitude of 3600-3800m so it is unlikely that serious effects of altitude sickness will be met. Although the highest point in this area is above 4000m, there will be effects of altitude for some people, which is not necessarily determined by age, physical condition or previous experiences.            

Difficulties: The Mustang Trek is medium difficulty. Hikers must be of healthy enough and able to walk / horse riding for about 5 to 7 hours per day. Horse is available for the serious health problem and difficulties. 

Carrier: donkeys or mules are used for camping equipment.

Permits and rules: Hikers must pay U.S. $ 50 per day (start and end point of Upper Mustang Kagbeni).

Accommodation: For a small group of less than 4 people, it can be done in local houses otherwise camping trek is suggested.

Good Season: April to October
