Round Annapurna Trek (10 days walk)

Welcome at the airport and transfer to the hotel, walk around the city, Thamel and local market . 

Swoyambhu : Buddhist stupa on the the hill, Patan : 2^nd city with various pagoda style temples and old palace,   Bugmati : beautiful cultural village of wood sculptors and Kathmandu Durbar square, city of temples with living goddess

Drive to Beshisahar around 6hrs & stop for lunch. Continue drive along the Mershyangdi River and drive uphill to  Jagat  , small settlement with lodges. Road is comparatively rough . Night in the Lodge on BLD.

1^st day of the trek , easy day of the trek , we cross several waterfalls , pine forests and several villages like Chamje, Tal (1700m)  on the bank of the beautiful river of Marshyangdi where we take Lunch.  Walk uphill to Dharapani via Karte village. Lodge on BLD

We gain altitude little by little , we cross several beautiful waterfalls and villages Bagarchhap, Lata Marang and Koto mixed Tibetan culture. Chame is also administrative center of Manang District. There are several local shops. View of Annapuran and Manaslu. Lodge on BLD

We enter to the Marshyangdi valley, walk along the Marshyangdi River, source from the glaciers of Annapurnas Mountain. Annapurna I ( 8091m ) was climbed by a well-known climber Mr Maurice Herzog in 1950AD for the 1^st time. We cross Bhratang, Dhikur Pokhari before arriving at Lower Pissang. As people are followiing Himalayan Buddhis , there are serval prayer flag on the roofs and pray wall and wheel on the trail . After noon, visit Upper Pissang ( 3300m) and the monastery. Lodge on BLD

One of the beautiful day of the trek , climb upto Ghyaru ( 3670m), take a tea. Enjoy the panoramic view of Annapurna Ranges and glaciers. Continue to Ngawal where we take lunch and spend the night in the same village. We start having real feeling of altitude, should be careful. Walk in the village and acclimatize. Lodge on BLD

Another beautiful day of the trek, walk down to the village of Braga, stop for tea and visit one of the oldest monastery in the region. Continue to Manang, valley becomes more wide. Manang is the popular village of this circuit, just in front of Annapurnas. After lunch, walk in the village, visit monastery and acclimatize. Lodge on BLD

Easy walk to village Khagsar for the acclimatization, Khangsar,  is the village on the way to Tilicho Lake ( highest lake in the world ),  is beautiful with several lodges , talk a lunch and back to Manang. View of Annnapurna ranges, Tilicho Peak (7134m). Lodge on BLD

We ascend to the ville of Gunsang and stop to enjoy the view and gradual climb to Yak Khaka, settlement with few lodges , no more village before Muktinath. We can see Yaks grazing and mountain goats on the way. Need to drink more water and keep warm as the weather declines rapidly. Lodge on BLD

Landscape changes completely, no more trees, more rocks . We should walk very slowly to reach Phedi where we take lunch. Continue climbing to High camp, the last night before crossing the pass. Enjoy the splendid view of Annapurna ranges. Lodge on BLD

The most spectacular day of the trek. Start early in the morning after breakfast, depends on the pace may take 4-5 hrs to reach the top, take photos and walk down to Muktinath, trail may be slippery. Mukinath is one of the most popular pilgrimage of Hindu, there is Buddhist monastery nearby too. Good example of cohabitation of two religions in Nepal. Lunch upon arrival. Lodge on BLD.

Take a rest in the morning, enjoy late breakfast. Dhaulagiri and Nilgiri mountains are just in front of you. Drive to Jomsom by local Jeep. 2hrs with stop. Lunch at Jomsom, village with airport. Road goes from Pokhara from other valley, so you may meet more Nepali and Indians for pilgrimages.

Fly to Pokhara and night in Pokhara. Say Bye Bye to the staff End of the service. Enjoy the lake Phewa, local market, evening pray. End of the service. Hotel on B/B Basis.
