Experience the Everest view trek, where you can take stunning photos in front of Everest (8848m), the highest mountain in the world. Trek through the beautiful Khumbu region and interact with the warm-hearted Sherpa people – a lifetime dream for every nature lover. This trek is designed to make that dream come true. Fly into Lukla airport, stroll through the vibrant streets of Namche Bazaar, meet monks at the serene Tyangboche Monastery, and capture breathtaking views of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and the iconic Ama Dablam.
This trek is ideal for those who love walking for a few hours each day and want to immerse themselves in Himalayan nature within a limited time frame. The best seasons are March to May and September to the end of November.
Itinerary for Everest View Trek
Welcome at the airport and transfer to the hotel, walk around the city, Thamel and local market.
Swoyambhu: Buddhist stupa on the hill, Patan: 2nd city with various pagoda style temples and old palace, Bugmati: beautiful cultural village of wood sculptors and Kathmandu Durbar Square, city of temples with living goddess. (afternoon drive to Ramechhap)
Fly to Lukla (20 minutes), one of the popular airports in the world, door to Everest Valley, meet staff, and an easy walk to Phakding. Hotel on B/B Basis.
Follow the trail along the Dudh Koshi River in the forest, and reach Jorsale (2805m). Continue uphill to cross the river using a suspension bridge, if the weather is clear, we see the Everest for the 1st time, and continue ascending up to Namche Bazar village, the capital of the Sherpa community. Afternoon, walk in the village, and observe the local market.
A day dedicated to acclimatization and visiting villages. Walk up to Khumjung village (3780) and Khunde village, a magnificent panorama of Everest, Lhotse, and other mountains. Afternoon, back to Namche, Lodge on BLD
Another beautiful day of the trek, the trail crosses several Sherpa villages like Thamo with a nunnery, popular in Khumby Valley. Lunch on the way and continue slowly to Thame, villages with some lodges and houses of popular climbers. Thame is also a stopover village before Ghokyo Lake via Renjo La pass or Tashi Laptsa pass to Tso Rolpa Lake of Rolwaling valley. Lodge on BLD
We take back the same trail and ascend up to Khumjun village, continue to. Mong Danda ( 3973m), stupa with pray flags, beautiful view of mountains, valley and villages. Walk down to Phortse Tenga (3675m) for lunch and ascend to the village Phorste, a beautiful Sherpa village with Mani walls and fields. Lodge on BLD.
Take a beautiful trail facing Everest and other mountains, arrive at Pangboche, visit the monastery and walk down to Deboche, a few houses, follow the trail in the forest to Tenboche, in front of Amadablam (6856m). Visit the monastery. Lodge on BLD
Take a trail downhill in the forest to Phunki Tenga (3250m), and cross the river Dudh Koshi, Dudh means milk in Nepali, white water coming from Khumbu Glacier. Back to Namche by taking a beautiful trail with mountain views and crossing several villages.
Lodge descended to Jorsale and up and down to Lukla, the same trail we took in the beginning, a relatively longer day. Last day of the trek. Lodge on BLD
End of the service and bye-bye to local staff, take a flight to Ramechhap (sometimes it's possible to take a direct flight to Kathmandu, depending on traffic at the Kathmandu airport), drive back to Kathmandu, Hotel on B/B Basis.
