The Everest View Trek is a short yet unforgettable adventure designed for travelers who dream of seeing Mount Everest up close without trekking to the base camp. This scenic journey through the Khumbu region takes you to iconic Sherpa villages, ancient monasteries, and panoramic viewpoints offering majestic vistas of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, and Ama Dablam.

Perfect for nature lovers, cultural explorers, and photographers, the trek offers a gentle pace, making it suitable for all age groups with moderate fitness levels.

Everest View Trek - Itinerary

Welcome at the airport and transfer to the hotel, walk around the city, Thamel and local market. 

Visit Swayambhunath Stupa, Patan with its pagoda-style temples, Bungamati—home to skilled wood sculptors—and the historic Kathmandu Durbar Square. Drive to Ramechap in the evening.

Take a thrilling 20-minute flight to Lukla. Begin a gentle walk to Phakding (3 hrs). Overnight at lodge. (B)

Follow the Dudh Koshi River, pass suspension bridges, and climb gradually to Namche, the gateway to Everest. If the weather is clear, enjoy your first glimpse of Everest! (6 hrs)

Hike to Khumjung and Khunde villages (3,780m) for acclimatization. Enjoy panoramic views of Everest and surrounding peaks. Return to Namche. (4 hrs)

Walk through beautiful Sherpa villages like Thamo, visit a local nunnery, and reach the peaceful village of Thame, known for its mountaineers. (4 hrs)

Return to Khumjung, then ascend to Mong Danda (3,973m). Enjoy spectacular views, descend to Phortse Tenga, and ascend again to Phortse Village, a traditional Sherpa settlement. (7 hrs)

Hike with panoramic views of Everest and Ama Dablam. Visit Pangboche Monastery, descend to Deboche, and ascend through the forest to Tengboche Monastery, the most important in the region. (6 hrs)

Descend to Phunki Tenga, cross the milky waters of the Dudh Koshi, and return to Namche via scenic trails. (5 hrs)

Retrace your steps back to Lukla. A longer but rewarding final day of trekking. (7 hrs)

Say farewell to your trekking crew. Fly back to Ramechhap and drive to Kathmandu. Overnight in hotel. (B)
